These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the website and services provided by Ready Writer Services LLC ("Company," "we," "us," or "our"), a limited liability company organized under the laws of the State of New Jersey. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
Ready Writer Services LLC provides book publishing support, manuscript editing, ghostwriting, author coaching, Spanish translation, cover design, and related services as described on our website. All services are subject to a separate written service agreement or proposal, which will govern the specific scope, timeline, and deliverables for your project.
Payment is due as specified in your service agreement or at the time of purchase. All prices are listed in U.S. dollars. We accept major credit cards and other payment methods as made available through our payment processor. By completing a purchase, you represent that you are authorized to use the payment method provided.
Due to the customized and labor-intensive nature of our services, all sales are final once work has commenced. If you wish to cancel before work begins, please contact us within 48 hours of your purchase. Refund requests after work has commenced will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis at our sole discretion. Deposits are non-refundable unless otherwise stated in your service agreement.
Your Content: You retain full ownership of any manuscripts, stories, and creative materials you provide to us. By engaging our services, you grant us a limited license to use your content solely to perform the services you have purchased.
Our Work Product: Upon receipt of full payment, all deliverables created specifically for your project (edited manuscripts, custom cover designs, etc.) become your property. Templates, processes, and proprietary methodologies remain the intellectual property of Ready Writer Services LLC.
Ghostwriting: For ghostwriting engagements, you will be the sole credited author of the resulting work. We maintain strict confidentiality and will not disclose our involvement without your written consent.
We treat all manuscript materials, personal information, and project details shared with us as strictly confidential. We will not share, publish, or disclose your content to any third party except as necessary to deliver your services or as required by law.
You agree to provide accurate information, respond to communications in a timely manner, and supply materials necessary to complete your project. Delays caused by your failure to provide requested materials or feedback may affect project timelines without affecting payment obligations.
To the maximum extent permitted by New Jersey law, Ready Writer Services LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of our services. Our total liability for any claim shall not exceed the amount you paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim.
In the event of a dispute, the parties agree to first attempt resolution through good-faith negotiation. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in New Jersey in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The prevailing party shall be entitled to recover reasonable attorneys' fees.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of New Jersey, without regard to its conflict of law provisions. Any legal proceedings not subject to arbitration shall be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in New Jersey.
We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. We will post the revised Terms on this page with an updated effective date. Your continued use of our services after such changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
